Statim
Boiler Calibration Guide

This guide shows how to calibrate the boiler ONLY. This procedure is sometimes useful in troubleshooting certain cycle faults.

To perform a complete calibration, the chamber probe also must be calibrated. This procedure requires a calibration cassette, which is not available outside of specialized Statim repair centers like ours. We strongly advise that chamber calibration be performed by a professional anytime the circuit board or microprocessor is replaced.

Software Revision 1xx

This procedure requires a Statim control box, which is specialized equipment not available outside of specialized Statim repair centers.

Software revisions 2xx through 5xx

Step 1

With the Statim’s cover off, short the pins at J11 while simultaneously turning on the power switch.

Step 2

The calibration screen will be displayed. It may appear slightly different depending on your software revision, but the following steps are the same.

Step 3

To begin the automated boiler calibration cycle, press and hold down the UNWRAPPED and START buttons simultaneously.

Step 4

A series of beeps will sound, the 2-digit calibration value will change to “00,” and an asterisk will appear next to the 00. If an asterisk does not appear, the calibration cycle did not begin. Repeat steps 1-4.

Step 5

The Statim can now be left unattended while the calibration cycle runs. It normally takes 5-10 minutes.

Step 6

When the calibration is complete, the “00” next to the asterisk will change to a hexadecimal value, such as “EA” or “F2.” On some models, a long beep will sound to indicate the cycle is finished. Some models may also automatically vent at this time. Regardless, you may press the stop button at any time once the new calibration value appears.
